3-Day Tours to Xiahe including Bingling Temple

first have breakfast then Start driving to Xiahe, first stop at Liujiaxia small town for visiting Bingling Grottos which filled with Buddhist sculptures carved into natural caves and caverns in a canyon along the Yellow River. So we have to take a boat from Liujiaxia town to Bingling temple which takes about 1 hour to get there through Liujiaxia Reservoir and we spend about 2 hours to explore the sculptures, carvings and frescoes which are outstanding examples of Buddhist artwork.
Our driver Waits for us at the other side of the Reservoir and drive us to Xiahe through many small beautiful villages. Upon arrival at Xiahe at about 5:00pm first check into the hotel take a short rest and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Activities: Visit Labrang Monastery, Tibetan family visit, Sangke Grassland, Langmu Monastery
Details:Our guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to Labrang Monastery which is the largest, most influential and major monastery of the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The architectural layout follows true Tibetan style, while construction patterns are a mixed with Chinese styles. We spend for about 3 hours for exploring the monastery and have lunch at a local Tibetan family to learn more about Tibet culture and real life.
In the afternoon visit Sangke Grassland which is located to the southwest of Xiahe and form a natural pasture for nomadic Tibetan people. The grasslands are famous for their natural scenery and the freedom to ride by horseback, free as the wind with only the sky as your horizon and a bounty of flowers underfoot.
After staying here for about one hour we continue our journey to Langmu Monastery which is about 3 hours driving distance.
Langmu Monastery is divided into two parts by the Bailongjiang River, one half belonging to Sichuan province and the other to Gansu Provice. The Tibetans who live in Langmu Monastery share the living habits in daily life and often also the religious activities. Langmu means “fairy” in Tibetan language. The Monastery got its name because inside the cave there is a rock bearing the resemblance of a beautiful young lady which was believed to be a transformation of a fairy.
Also there are two big mosques connecting to the monasteries which is rare opportunities to enjoy Islamic culture as well as Buddha culture which are combined one place. When you are done here we drive back Xiahe town with another road for overnight at the hotel.

Activities: After breakfast visit Baojiao Ancient city; Drive to Lanzhou After Lunch
Details:After breakfast at teh hotel, drive to Bajiao City (Eight-angle City) which is located at the junction of Yangqu River and Yangla River, 35 kilometers (22 miles) north of Labrang Town. Nowadays, because of contrived damage and weathering, the city has suffered a great destroy. But if you have an interest in historical ruins, you can still find more surprise during your visit.
After lunch start driving to Lanzhou which is about 260km and it takes approximately 3.5-4 hours.
